I’m Mohan, Founder of Talent Circles

A brief background

  • After my Economics degree at the University of Cambridge and my Master in Race Relations, I started out in the field of diversity, advocating for ethnic gender and disability diversity in employment, engaging with large employers, making the case for harnessing all circles of talent, and engaging with diverse communities at a local level to help advance their life chances in employment.

  • I had the pleasure of joining some former colleagues of mine as they started an executive recruitment firm where my remit was to grow their private sector practice and work alongside their strength in public sector recruitment. Working on senior hires for clients in technology, professional services and consulting, my clients took on a truly global character from about 13 years ago.

  • Since then, I have been delighted to work for a vast array of clients particularly in Africa, Europe, the USA and the Caribbean, covering a range of disciplines in the private and not-for-profit sectors. There’s not a day when I’m not learning from my clients, contacts and candidates - and the circles they move in. That’s truly humbling - as is the chance to support some clients on their diversity journey as they act upon their heightened awareness of how this helps business, society and the people they employ and serve. A circle of success you might say!

  • I founded Talent Circles to enable me to do what I love - hiring talent for international clients particularly for emerging markets and from diverse backgrounds. Talent Circles works on a retained executive search basis and acts as an employer brand champion for each client.
