Well-established social enterprise in Kenya needs a Director of Partnerships. They are an African-led, women-led social enterprise providing low-cost, high-quality meals for primary school children in Kenya.
We have been retained to hire a Director of Partnerships. They are an African-led, women-led social enterprise that uses technology, smart operations, and logistics to provide low-cost, high-quality meals that improve nutrition and education outcomes for primary school children in Kenya. They are also developing an offering to advice other African Governments on how they can introduce schools feeding programmes and can support other providers through creating a centre of excellence that demonstrates how their model operates. .
The Director of Partnerships is about delivering their Partnerships and Technical Advisory strategy, establishing the Centre of Excellence as a pan-African systems-strengthening platform, and enabling continental expansion through co-created school feeding models and demonstration pilots.
The individual could come from a variety of fields including partnerships, technical advisory, public sector consulting, and systems strengthening. You will have worked with African Governments on technical assistance or leading large-scale reforms and will have designed multi-country programmes or initiatives. Good at project management and proposal writing, this person will be an excellent communicator with political acumen and an ability to navigate diverse African political and institutional contexts.
The position is ideally based in Kenya or could be in Zambia or Ethiopia.
